Milano, 21 December (askanews) – Music, cinema, fashion, if 2024 marked an extraordinary year, Elodie’s 2025 promises to be even more ambitious, with new projects in both the musical and cinematographic fields. But above all he can’t wait to return for the fourth time, he will compete at the Sanremo Festival with the song “Dimenticarsi alle 7”, a prelude to Elodie’s new musical era, which will be explored in the next album released in the spring.

I have a piece that I love very much, which tells two sides of me: on the one hand I love light music, great voices, on the other I’ve been going dancing since I was 14, electronic music is a mantra, it relaxes me. – he said during the Christmas toast with journalists. You know me, I’m a bit dramatic, I dare say unnecessarily dramatic, but only love can arouse that drama that I like, I throw myself on the floor, sometimes I even put on a dressing gown to appear more dramatic. On the other hand there is the music, which represents me a lot and for the first time I got involved in the production.”

Looking back, Elodie takes stock and also explains her choices.
“In 2017 I made Tutta mia, after the After the Sanremo Festival I no longer knew what to do. I felt weighed down, I felt like I was my aunt and I didn’t want to feel all that weight on me. Rather than that I would have gone back to being a cubist. They wanted to make me a Mia Martini at 25 and while I wanted to be light and happy, that’s why I wanted to change.”

From there was born the pop breakthrough that led her to be the all-round artist she is today. On the next stadium tour he says it was a gamble but he aims to win the bet:
“I like challenges, I like the idea of a show, of grandeur, of being dramatic, it seemed like a great opportunity to create a great show”.

Elodie has finally made peace with her past and looks to the future enthusiastically and full of hope.
