Presenter Ellen Jokikunnas48, received feedback on raising her child on social media. Jokikunnas had published Instagram-in his stories, a video in which his adopted child Ralph James8, fill Christmas tarts with jam.
Later, Jokikunnas shared a screenshot of a message in his stories where a social media user was upset about his video.
– Ellen, I guess you now understand that Finnish children her age expect their mother to participate in the hustle and bustle? Now when the little boy repeatedly serves you, we viewers feel bad. The boy needs genuine love and care – now he is trying to “buy” your love by serving you. Pretty sad to watch, the message reads.

– What the **** are you explaining? It’s unbelievable that you can conclude from my social media videos that our son would serve us! He is a child who for the first time in his life receives undivided attention, closeness, care and love. And you can also cook and bake with me in a loving and encouraging atmosphere, the host’s answer reads.
– He doesn’t serve us, and he doesn’t buy love. You know nothing about our lives. A really inappropriate comment, he adds at the end.
Jikkunnas and his Jari-their spouses waited more than six years for adoption. On Father’s Day, the host celebrated their dream come true on his Instagram account, where Jari stood hand in hand with Ralph James in Manila, Philippines.
– Here at the ends of the world, there is one father who has been waiting for this first Father’s Day for 14 years. He is the perfect father for our son Ralph James, Jokikunnas rejoiced in his update.
Jokikunnas and her husband Jari got married in 2017. The couple first tried for a child with the help of in vitro fertilization treatments. The couple then began the adoption process, which was delayed due to the corona pandemic.
