Eleventh world title American basketball players
The American basketball players have become world champions for the eleventh time. The team beat China 83-61 in the final in Sydney. It was the team’s fourth consecutive title. A’ja Wilson was the top scorer on the championship team with 19 points.
China was fairly level with the United States until halfway through the game, but in the third quarter the big tournament favorite ran to a lead of 21 points and did not relinquish it.
