“Electronic device with battery was the cause”: resident son (24) dies in fire in hair salon in Sint-Kruis-Winkel near Ghent

In the East Flemish Sint-Kruis-Winkel, a village in the Ghent port area, a serious fire broke out in a house on Sunday morning. After hours of extinguishing the fire, the fire is now under control, but a young man has lost his life. This concerns the 24-year-old resident son. The expert’s investigation has shown that it was an accidental fire caused by an electronic device with a battery.
