For the first time, territorial limitation represents one of the fundamental requirements for accessing theEcobonus. In fact, applications can only be submitted by natural persons And microenterprises with residence or registered office in functional urban areas, i.e. in one of the approximately 2,460 Italian municipalities with beyond 50 thousand inhabitants and in so-called commuting areas. The former will receive a contribution, which will in turn be given in the form of a direct discount during the purchase phase, equal to 11 thousand euros for those who have an ISEE (Equivalent Economic Situation Indicator) up to 30 thousand euroswhile the bonus drops to 9 thousand euros in the case of ISEE less than or equal to 40 thousand euros. In both cases, together with the purchase of an electric car (category M1, with a maximum price of 42,700 euros), the scrapping of a vehicle with internal combustion engine with Euro 5 or previous category emissions is foreseen. For the purchase of electric commercial vehicles (categories N1 and N2) by a micro-enterprise, however, the range varies from a maximum of 20 thousand euros per vehicle and within the limit of 30% of the purchase price.
