Elderly woman violently killed in Waregem

Shortly after 9 a.m., the emergency services were called to a detached house along Churchilllaan in Waregem. Upon arrival, they find the lifeless body of the resident. The woman lived with her husband, to whom she had been married for more than 60 years.

It is still unclear how and why the woman died. Her husband was arraigned this afternoon before the investigating judge for murder. He has decided to keep him.
