Elburg councilor and angry local residents refused during heated evening about asylum center in Oldebroek, security intervenes | Oldebroek

Police, security guards and enforcers intervened tonight during a council meeting in Oldebroek. There was again discussion about the possible arrival of an asylum seekers’ center in the municipality. Some of the interested parties had to stay outside because of the crowds, but still tried to get in. Rick van Velthuysen, councilor in Elburg, was also denied access.
