Two brothers who make it together in the professional area are rare. Luca and Tim Philipp from TSG Hoffenheim were recently the 100th pair of brothers of the Bundesliga history. The fact that both brothers run together for an association and score a goal in the same game is a rarity in the German professional area, which has only been five times since 2000. Said and Malek El Mala succeeded in the 3rd league on the 24th matchday for Viktoria Köln. Said scored the 1-1 against Alemannia Aachen before Malek scored 3-1 and thus made an entry in the history books.

Malek and Said switched to the 1st FC Köln last summer for a total of 400,000 euros and signed a contract until 2029. Due to the transfer lock, both talents remained on loan at Viktoria for another year. Effzeh coach Gerhard Struber is said to be very impressed by the development of Said, and with his 13 scorers so far, he could represent an alternative for 1. FC Köln next season. At Malek, according to the “Bild” information, there is considerations to extend the loan by 2026.
