Frankfurt disassembles Galatasaray after emotional trapp ceremony

Accompanied by speech choirs and thunderous applause, Eintracht Frankfurt ceremoniously passed his long-time captain Kevin Trapp-and then celebrated the return to the Champions League with a spectacular 5-1 win against Galatasaray Istanbul.

Trapp thanked the fans primarily: “To be able to experience everything together with you was the greatest in my career. I will never be completely gone.”

Although Yunus Akgün brought the Turkish champion in the lead in the 8th minute, Frankfurt turned the game before half -time. An own goal of Davinson Sanchez (37th) and hit by Can Uzun (45.+2) and Jonathan Burkardt (45.+4) provided the turn.
