Frankfurt/Main (AP) – Eintracht Frankfurt has terminated the loan agreement with Amin Younes and the Italian first division club SSC Naples, the Bundesliga soccer club announced.
The 28-year-old national player had been released from training and games since September last year. Younes was originally loaned out for two seasons in October 2020. After a good season with 26 appearances, Younes made his last appearance this season in the first round of the DFB Cup and then flirted with a change. A move from Younes to Al Shabab in Saudi Arabia fell through shortly before the transfer ended.
