Eintracht Frankfurt: Skhiri scores on SGE debut

Bundesliga club Eintracht Frankfurt easily won the first test of preparation with numerous debutants on and off the field.

The SGE won 15:1 (5:1) at neighboring group league club FSV Braunfels on Saturday. Coach Dino Toppmöller made his debut on the touchline, new signings Ellyes Skhiri, Robin Koch and Hugo Larsson each played a half.

The Tunisian Skhiri, whose contract with league rivals 1. FC Köln had expired, joined the long list of goalscorers (62nd). Four-packer Paxten Aaronson (54/66/79/87), Igor Matanovic (7/37), Jens Petter Hauge (11/45), Ragnar Ache (59/83), Eric Dina Ebimbe (70’/90’+1), Timothy Chandler (15′) and Christopher Lenz (75′, penalty kick) scored the other goals for Frankfurt.
