Eintracht Braunschweig wins at BVB

Eintracht Braunschweig remains in the promotion race of the 3rd league. Nine days after the bitter 2-0 home defeat against 1. FC Saarbrücken, Lower Saxony won 1-0 (1-0) at newly promoted Borussia Dortmund II.

This puts the former Bundesliga club on the heels of third-placed Saarland, just one point behind.

Maurice Multhaup (26th) scored the decisive goal in front of 2079 spectators in the Rote Erde stadium after a quick free kick.

Braunschweig has a catch-up game up its sleeve: next Saturday (2:00 p.m. / MagentaSport) at VfL Osnabrück.

BVB’s U23s suffered their fifth defeat in a row, but are still firmly in the middle of the table.
