Eight goals! Grant-Leon Ranos and Co. celebrate crazy shooting party

What a gala performance by FC Bayern’s second representative: In the regional league away game at SV Heimstetten on Friday evening, the Munich youngsters won 8-1 (3-1) despite falling behind early on.

After 20 minutes of play, the Bayern talents initially fell behind through Alexis Fambo, but then showed a strong reaction afterwards.

Younes Aitamer (32′, 38′, 76′), Grant-Leon Ranos (44′, 65′), Timo Kern (54′) and Yusuf Kabadayi (64′, 81′) scored the goals for the completely unleashed guests.

Trainer Holger Seitz was unsurprisingly more than satisfied with the performance of his protégés.

“There were a few situations in which you could see exactly what quality was on the pitch here today. I think we deserved to win at altitude because the lads just showed a great game – especially after the Goal conceded. It was really fun to watch,” enthused the 48-year-old.

This means that the FCB amateurs remain unbeaten in the 2023 calendar year. In six matches they won five and drew one.

FC Bayern: Grant-Leon Ranos still on the rise

It was once again a special evening for doubles Ranos, who just a few days ago celebrated a perfect debut in the Armenian national team: The teenager scored both goals in the 2-2 win against Cyprus.

In the current regional league season, the 19-year-old has scored 17 goals in 27 appearances. So it shouldn’t be too long before Ranos is promoted to training with the Bundesliga team by the new professional head coach Thomas Tuchel.

The strong attacker moved to Munich in 2018 from the youth division of BVB. He was also successful in the UEFA Youth League in 2022/2023.
