Italjet starts again from three (and a half). After the two little brothers 125/200 and the big brother 700, the Bolognese brand launches the Dragster 459 Twin at Eicma. Roadster, a scooter with a retro style and cutting-edge technology, was also presented at the Milan show.

Built on the same platform as the Dragster 700 Twin, the Dragster 459 is powered by a 449 cc inline twin-cylinder engine with SmartShift automatic transmission, liquid-cooled, which delivers a power of 35 kW (48 HP) at 9,500 rpm and 41 Nm of torque at 8,000 rpm. Among the characterizing elements of the Dragster 459 is SmartShift (Intelligent Automatic Transmission), an intelligent six-speed transmission system that combines the direct feel of a manual gearbox with the convenience of full automation. Thanks to the electronic clutch and gearbox actuators, it ensures quick and smooth engagements, both in automatic and manual mode, via a button on the handlebar. Able to adapt in real time to driving style, road conditions and component wear, SmartShift guarantees constant performance and absolute control in every situation.

In addition to SmartShift, the sports scooter features Isas (Italjet Stiffness Adjustment System), a technology inspired by the MotoGP world, developed and patented by Italjet for its bigger brother 700, which allows the rigidity of the rear suspension to be precisely adjusted, adapting the behavior of the vehicle to different driving conditions: both in the city and on extra-urban routes.

As regards dimensions, the wheelbase is 1,540 mm, the tank capacity is 16 liters and the weight is 180 kg. Declared consumption is 4.1 liters per 100 km. The seat height from the ground is 815 mm. Italjet Dragster 459 Twin will be available on the world market starting from March 2026, at an indicative price of 9,900 euros including VAT ex-dealership.
