Ed Sheeran and Bring Me The Horizon are working on a song together

Ed Sheeran was beaten by Adele in most categories at the Brit Awards. The singer is still remembered as the opening act. Ed Sheeran and rock band Bring Me The Horizon joined forces at the awards ceremony to perform Sheeran’s hit single “Bad Habits,” turning the EDM number into a guitar-heavy bombast emo-rock track.

Now the singer and the band also want to record a song together. In an interview, Sheeran said performing with Bring Me The Horizon was a dream for him. He had wanted to work with the band in the past, but Corona would have prevented this for the time being.

Sheeran said he’s a long-time fan of the band and looks forward to working together. “Oddly enough, this is the kind of music I grew up listening to,” the singer said.

This is how the new version of “Bad Habits” came about

The joint appearance at the Brit Awards was more of a spontaneous thing, revealed Ed Sheeran. It was clear to him that the performance would have been boring if he had played the song in the original.

“The song is EDM and they, Bring Me The Horizon, took it and made something new out of it. I just thought these guitars are going to be great. We had emailed each other two weeks before, recorded a week before and rehearsed three days before,” the singer added.

Most recently, Sheeran appeared musically with a remake of “The Joker and the Queen”. The song is a duet with US pop star Taylor Swift.
