Ajax hires Patrickson Delgado for the rest of the season. The 18-year-old midfielder comes on a rental basis from Independiente del Valle. An option to buy is included in the agreement with the Ecuadorian club.
Initially, Delgado will be leased from Indenpendiente until the summer of 2023. It has been agreed that the midfielder will join Jong Ajax after completing his transfer.
Earlier this transfer period Ajax already brought Brian Brobbey back to Amsterdam. The striker will be rented from RB Leipzig for the rest of the season, but suffered a knee injury in the top match against PSV. He will be out for six weeks. Sébastien Haller, on the other hand, returns back from the Africa Cup.
