The bankruptcy application that a supplier of Ebusco has submitted for the company has been withdrawn. The electric bus builder reports this on Monday. The court case, which would take place on Tuesday, will no longer take place.
Last week it was announced that EBUSCO again came into acute money problems and that a supplier had requested the bankruptcy of the bus builder due to unpaid bills. Ebusco said he was dependent on ‘a considerable capital injection in the short term’.
The manufacturer waited for 5 million euros from money lender Green Innovation, who had so far made half of a loan of 10 million euros available.
Now Ebusco reports that he has received that money from Green. As a result, the bankruptcy application and the lawsuit can be deleted according to the bus builder. Ebusco says it remains dependent on the capital injection of, among others, Green and on support from suppliers through, for example, deferred payment arrangements.
Share is bad
Ebusco announced on Wednesday that the company suffered a loss of 200 million. Last year the company went back to the shareholders to get extra money together by spending extra shares.
Nothing is left of the Ebusco share. The company went to the stock exchange full of optimism in October 2021. The share was even worth 23 euros. Now it is a so -called ‘pennystock’, the share has been under the euro for some time. Wednesday morning it plummeted around 25 cents.
