The Ministry of the Interior and Kingdom Relations calls on municipalities, provinces, corporations and other interested parties to register projects via www.realisatiehuisvesting.nl.
Partly due to the war in Ukraine and the crisis in the asylum reception centre, more (temporary) homes are needed even faster and more than foreseen in the Housing Construction and A Home for Everyone programmes. The ‘Task Force for Accelerating Temporary Housing’, set up by the Minister for Housing and Spatial Planning, helps parties accelerate projects and advises the Ministry of the Interior on the possible granting of a financial contribution.
Financial contribution
The Cabinet has made €100 million available in 2022 to accelerate the construction of flexible housing and transformation projects for displaced Ukrainians, status holders and other target groups. Only projects that have been registered via the website can qualify for a financial contribution. The maximum contribution per home to be built is 12,000 euros including VAT, with a maximum amount of 10 million euros including VAT per municipality.
