The leading European young fashion company NEW YORKER is back on the pitch.

NEW YORKER returns to professional basketball with a new partnership. The company supported the Basketball Löwen Braunschweig as a name sponsor between 2006 and 2014. Now this success story will continue in a new era.

“It is with great pleasure that we announce the new partnership between the Basketball Löwen Braunschweig and NEW YORKER. This collaboration is an important step for the lions, as NEW YORKER is a strong international company with regional roots and, like us, stands for dynamism, success and style. Together we want to continue to grow the enthusiasm for basketball in Braunschweig and beyond,” explains Nils Mittmann, managing director of the Basketball Lions.

Lisa Horstmann, Head of Marketing & Communications at NEW YORKER, adds: “We are very pleased to be back in professional basketball after more than 10 years. This partnership combines our commitment to the region with our connection to our young target group and offers promising potential.”

With over 1,270 branches in more than 45 countries, NEW YORKER has stood for fashion and social commitment for over 50 years. In addition to fashion, the company promotes social, cultural and sporting initiatives in the areas of music, sport, culture and education.
