Dyanne Beekman, the stylist known to the general public from the former RTL 4 show Looking Good, is forever on Tina Nijkamp’s blacklist. “A bouquet for 80 euros or something!”
During her time as channel manager of SBS 6, Tina Nijkamp went crazy about all the stylists who sent her very expensive invoices. At one point she tried to make significant cuts on the stylists of the Hart van Nederland presenter, but met with fierce resistance. In the end, Tina couldn’t get through, but her resistance remained.
36 bunches of flowers
TV stylist Dyanne Beekman thought he was handy and tried to win over Tina, but that didn’t work. “I’m not gullible. When it was my birthday I received 36 bunches of flowers. Then I just think: whose are those flowers? And I actually look at them and think: I never want to have anything to do with that again, because they are fake people.”
She continues in the podcast The Media Week: “I don’t need a Christmas package either. I was averse to that. I thought: why do I get a Christmas package? Why? That’s all just to make fun. I’ve always been suspicious. I’m very light on the inside, but I’m just not gullible and quite distrustful by nature.”
Bouquet from Dyanne
Tina thinks all those TV people are so fake. “If you receive twenty bunches of flowers on your birthday, do you think: how sweet of those people, or: why do I get twenty bunches of flowers? I remember when I became program director of SBS and also received all kinds of flowers and gifts. The entire office is of course full, because whoever has the pot of money…”
She continues: “Then there was also a bouquet of flowers from Dyanne Beekman. She is such a stylist. And then I thought: Dyanne Beekman?! I had actually met her once in my life when I was editor-in-chief of Koffietijd. That was years before.”
80 euros
What did Dyanne do at Koffietijd? “He had a metamorphosis column there with Mari van de Ven. That was it. And then I got a very large bouquet of flowers, costing 80 euros or something, a bouquet of flowers like that.”
Clearly a slime bouquet, Tina decides. “Then I think: yes, well, I know why you are doing this. Yes, he has never worked at SBS 6 either.”
