A 55-year-old Dutch man drowned in Suriname on Saturday. The holidaymaker had gone swimming with family in the Upper Suriname River near a recreational resort. At one point the man disappeared into the depths. His body was found on Sunday after a search of many hours, the Surinamese police reported.
