Dutch team Picnic PostNL Raisin revives cycling airbag: ‘But there is fear on that side of the story’

The horror crash at the start of this Tour of Italy has further shocked the peloton in terms of safety. For years people have been trying to figure out how to prevent falls, but that is often impossible. However, more and more attention is being paid to harm reduction measures. In 2003, helmets became mandatory; Picnic PostNL Raisin is currently developing an airbag.
