Dursun Özbek, who was re-elected as president at the ordinary general assembly of Galatasaray Club held on May 23, and his management received their certificates of election.
At the ceremony held at Ali Sami Yen Sports Complex RAMS Park, the ordinary elected general assembly council committee presented the certificates.
Dursun Özbek, who was elected as the president of the yellow-red club for the 3rd time in a row and the 4th time in total, was given his certificate of election by the chairman of the general assembly council, Ahmet Kemal Kumkumoğlu.
Then, certificates of approval were presented to the members of the management, auditing, registry and disciplinary boards.
Speaking after the certificates were given, Dursun Özbek stated that they received a great trust as the board of directors and said, “We have formed boards of directors under my chairmanship since 2022. The work we have done in the past 4 years has been appreciated by the general assembly. We have been deemed worthy of this duty for the 2026-2028 period. This increases our responsibility. We have to do better. We are coming for this purpose. We will do better than what we have done in the past period. I want the support that the Galatasaray community has given us so far to continue. We need your support. I hope the 2026-2028 period will be beneficial for Galatasaray Club.” he said.
