Laura Dahlmeier died in a recovery accident in Pakistan. The German Ski Association has already commented on the death of its ex-athlete.
The German Ski Association reacted with deep grief to the death of double Olympic champion Laura Dahlmeier. “We mourn our former athlete and biathlon legend Laura Dahlmeier,” the association wrote in two photos of Dahlmeier on Instagram.
“She was not only one of the most successful athletes in the history of the German Ski Association, but also an extraordinary person full of joie de vivre, courage and warmth – on and off the trail,” the association appreciates his deceased athlete. “She touched and inspired us with her passion for sport, down -to -earthness and her contagious laugh.”
The thoughts and deep sympathy are with family, friends and everyone who stood near them. “We will always remember Laura as a great athlete and wonderful people. Quiet in peace, Laura,” concludes the statement.
