Dsquared2 has appointed Sergio Azzolari as the new managing director.
He will step into the position effective April 1 “to drive Dsquared2’s growth and strengthen the company’s omnichannel presence with an increasingly global perspective,” the brand announced on Thursday. Azzolari has held various management positions in the fashion industry over the past 30 years.
“Joining the next chapter of Dsquared2 is an exciting opportunity to leverage the panache and uniqueness of the brand, and I look forward to seeing it reach its full potential,” said Azzolari.
The new Dsquared2 CEO comes from Tod’s Group, where he worked in Asia, America and Europe. Most recently, he worked for the Italian fashion group as general manager of Fay and Hogan. He began his career with the Benetton Group. He has also held various leadership positions at Missoni, Luxottica and Deckers Corp.
