Drunken Man (57) attacks ambulance officers in Heist-op-den-Berg: threatened with knife and windshield

A drunken man attacked two ambulance officers of the Rivierenland assistance zone last weekend. The ambulance officers were not injured, but the drunken man did cause a lot of damage. In the meantime, zone commander Bert Michielsen and zone president Bart Somers are calling for more respect: “Unfortunately, violence against care providers is no longer an exception.”
