Apart from stabbing incident

At the end of last month, 14-year-old Dani from Westwoud was stabbed after he got into a fight with a 16-year-old boy from Hoorn just outside Oscar Romero secondary school. He died later from his injuries. According to the municipality, the checks at the schools in Hoorn are separate from the stabbing incident in October.

“The inspection has been planned for some time,” the municipality reports. “We can imagine that the checks now have an extra impact as a result. That is why we talked to the students after the checks, so that care and support for school social work and the youth and family worker is possible.”
