The chase started around midnight in Ingelmunster. The driver of a car refused to stop for a police patrol and fled to Izegem. The police gave chase, which ended with a collision with a parked car in Hoogstraat.
The passenger in the car was injured and taken to hospital. He’s been arrested. His companion who was driving the car fled the scene, but the police know who he is.
