Drone attack on Khartoum puts Sudan-Ethiopia relations on edge: ‘Rivalry tears region apart’

A drone attack on Khartoum International Airport on May 5 further increased tensions between Sudan and neighboring Ethiopia. For the first time, Sudan now openly acknowledges that the country is being hit by such drone attacks. Ethiopia and the United Arab Emirates are mentioned, but who actually fired the drones remains unclear.
