The Miami track is in service for the first time, but drivers have already found it bad.
The Fifth F1 race of the season will be held in Miami, USA at 10.30 pm Finnish time.
The NFL Club The street track built next to the Miami Dolphins home stadium has proven difficult for drivers. Several drivers have cycled their cars. For example Carlos Sainz and Esteban Ocon drove their cars to the wall in drills.
Sergio Pérez has also spun on the track somewhat and occasionally made straight bends. The Red Bull Mexican driver told Autosport directly about his opinion.
– First of all, the surface of the track is a joke. The race is going to be really hard. Drivers make mistakes when we are put in these conditions, Pérez would speak.
Alpine veteran driver Fernando Alonso was on the same lines.
– It gets really hard as soon as you leave the best driving line. The track is not up to F1, Alonso said.
Some of the bends are surprisingly steep. Many drivers have lost control of their cars and have had to make major repairs.

Ricciardo’s teammate Lando Norris confirmed previous views.
– It (surface) is not good enough. They hope to get the show up, but you can’t race on this track. It’s not our fault, but it’s really a shame.
Ferrari drivers were the strongest in time. Charles Leclerc starts the race from the pole and Sainz starts from the second square. Alfa Romeon Valtteri Bottas is the fifth box when starting the race.
