A motorist has crashed during a police chase near the Belgian border. The chase started from Utrecht and went through Breda, but the Dutch police were unable to catch the driver.
Two police helicopters also flew in the air during the chase. It is not clear why the driver fled. The driver has rammed a few cars in Utrecht.
Across the border at Hazeldonk, the car crashed into the guardrail on the John Lijsenstraat in Lake Belgium. In addition to Dutch and Belgian police, an ambulance also arrived on the scene.
