On the Lonerstraat in Assen a motorist this morning crashed into a tree with his van. He shot off the road due to unclear cause and was seriously injured by the collision. The victim is a 41-year-old man from Assen.
A trauma helicopter was called in which a doctor was in who finally went to the hospital with the wounded man. The police dropped off the area and investigate the accident.
