DSC turns third match point
But the duel remained very changeable, in the third section Dnipro got the upper hand again – mainly because of the revitalized Casanova. The guests now had their backs to the wall, but they also played a convincing game in the fourth set and so the tie-break had to decide. It was very good here again, Dresden was finally able to transform the third match point.
In the new year’s Champions League, DSC will continue on January 18 in Kaliningrad. In the table they move up to third place after their first win.
