The Drenthe police are looking ‘urgently’ for witnesses who ‘know more about a dead black and white Jack Russel bitch’, who was found between Hijken and Orange in the woods along the Orange Canal.
The police make the call via Facebook, with a ‘ blurted’ photo of the dog, because ‘it is a confrontational image’.

“This dog was found on January 5, 2023, around 2:30 PM, with multiple serious injuries. It is unknown at this time how it sustained these injuries. We assume the dog has been abused.’
