Drenthe nature blooms in libraries

A number of libraries in Drenthe are making extra space for nature in Drenthe. In the ROEG! Hoek, which opens on April 20, allows everyone to delve into what blooms and grows in their own environment.

Nature around the corner: there is so much to discover in and about! With the ROEG! Hoeken have three libraries in Drenthe together with ROEG! a starting point for experiences, fascinating lectures and cheerful children’s activities. All within the framework of nature.

In Facet (formerly Emmen library), Casting and Beilen will open the ROEG next Wednesday! corners. That van Beilen is in the library of Ruinerwold a month later. This pop-up ROEG! Hoek comes in many more different locations and continues throughout the province.

Every ROEG! Hoek has its own agenda. Each month there is a choice of two ‘green’ activities or meetings, aimed at both adults and children.

Ten animals from Drenthe have already taken a look at the ROEG! Corner. And they left traces! The prints (the paw prints) can be found between the bookcases. There is a Trace Bingo card ready: whoever manages to cross all traces has a chance to win a set Field Cards by trace expert René Nauta.

In the ROEG! Corners can borrow a number of ROEG! backpacks. Here you will find everything you need to walk the Vogelbeleefpad. This is possible everywhere with this backpack: the bag contains, among other things, an assignment book, binoculars and a shovel. Step out from the library with this backpack for a fun trip.
