1. Tim Owens
Tim Owens achieved a rare feat: the flying change from a tribute band to the original. Until then, British Steel singers, the American hired his childhood heroes from Judas Priest in 1996. For at least two albums, Owens lived this dream before his predecessor Rob Halford joined the band again.
2. Michael Delguidice
Michael Delguidice was similar: The New York player played for 14 years in a Billy Joel cover band before he was hired by Piano Man as a background singer and guitarist in 2013.
3. Jordan Lawlor and Kaela Sinclair
If you are a M83 fan, you have a comparatively better chance of getting a place in your favorite band. Front man Anthony Gonzalez has made it a habit to simply search for new members by job advertisement when someone leaves the band.

4. Pearl Thompson
Pearl Thompson, always again Wieder-Wieder-Gestorist from The Cure, had turned his back on Robert Smith and Co. in 1992 to drive his career as a painter. Robert was planning to call that nothing came of it: he wanted to hire him as a live musician for the next tour of Page & Plant. Of course, Thompson agreed, since he had been a huge LED-Zeppelin fan since the 1970s.
5. John Frusciante
John Frusciante visited his first Red Hot Chili-Peppers concert at 15 and quickly became familiar with their work. He also got to know the band’s original guitarist, Hillel Slovak, before he died of an overdose of Heroin – and became a frusciant for his successor.
6. Josh Klinghoffer
The next time the guitarist change of the Chili Peppers, there was a similar case.
When John Frusciante left the band in 2009, he was replaced by Josh Klinghoffer. Frusciante had long been his mentor, and the two had also worked on songs together since 2002.
7. Adam Lambert
The example of Adam Lambert shows that something good does not always come out when fans get involved in the matters of their favorite band: With “Bohemian Rhapsody” and “We are the champions”, which sang in second place in the casting show “American idol” in 2009-and was promptly promoted by a long completely instinctual Brian May.
