Bizot went through the youth academy at Ajax. He then played for Cambuur, FC Groningen, Genk and from 2017 to 2021 for AZ. In the summer of 2021 he signed a contract with Stade Brest, with which he was active in the Champions League last season.
With Stade Brest, Bizot finished ninth in the Ligue 1 last season, so the club did not qualify for European football. Aston Villa became sixth in the Premier League and plays qualification for the group stage of the Europa League.
“It’s a great feeling,” Bizot says after drawing at Aston Villa to the club channels. “I am a bit stunned by the professionalism of the club and the trouble they have made. I am very proud to be here.”
The goalkeeper hopes to be of added value. “It is difficult to provide extra qualities at a club and selection such as this. But everyone has their strength. I have a lot of experience in different countries and have played many competitions. I hope I can do everything possible to help the team.”
