Shane van Aarle stands for a big step. The 18-year-old defender of FC Eindhoven is wearing Juventus’ shirt next season. The Eindhoven team wanted to continue with him, but now see the transfer as a nice appreciation for his development.

In his youth, Shane played football at a number of Belgian clubs, including Club Brugge. He then moved to the youth academy of FC Eindhoven, where he made his debut this season before the winter break in the first team. The talent won a base place this calendar year. His development stood out at the Italian top club Juventus, which now gets him for the promising team.

“I hope to play myself up,” Shane told ESPN about it. “I am curious about the level and try to adjust as quickly as possible. I still can’t realize it. It is a real boy’s dream.”

Other transfers
The Italian club sometimes looks around on the Brabantse Velden. In 2023, for example, it collected defender/midfielder Livano Comenencia at Jong PSV. The youth international from Breda also ended up in the Town Team in the series C, the third level.

Leandro Fernandes was known at PSV as a great talent and left for the club from Turin in 2018. The 25-year-old midfielder did not succeed and after adventures in Italy, the Netherlands, Norway and Lithuania he is currently clubless.
