Recommendations of the Editorial team

Drake has made chart history: His new album trilogy – “Iceman”, “Habibti” and “Maid of Honor” – occupies the first three places on the current Billboard 200, making the rapper the first artist ever to hold number one, two and three at the same time.

“Iceman” tops the list: In its first week of release, the album sold 463,000 equivalent album units, the majority of which – 449,000 units – came from streaming, which included 462.2 million on-demand streams, Billboard reports. A day after the release, both Spotify and Amazon Music announced that Drake had become the most-streamed artist on their respective services in a single day in 2026 thanks to his triple drop.

“Habibti” came in second with 114,000 equivalent units, just ahead of “Maid of Honor” in third with 110,000 units. Like “Iceman,” “Habibti” and “Maid of Honor” were only available digitally – via purchase or stream – and there are currently no plans for a physical release.

Better than “For All the Dogs”

“Iceman” surpassed the initial sales figures of Drake’s previous album, 2023’s “For All the Dogs,” which also debuted at number one with 402,000 equivalent units.

At the same time, “Iceman” marks Drake’s 15th number-one album on the Billboard 200 – bringing him level with Taylor Swift and now tied with her for the most number-one albums of any solo artist. Among all artists, The Beatles continue to lead the field with 19 number one albums. With all three albums charting, Drake has also surpassed Future as the rapper with the most top 10 albums, according to Billboard.
