Dozens of people arrested on commemoration of Gezipark protests in Istanbul

In the Turkish city of Istanbul, dozens of demonstrators were arrested on Saturday who commemorated the 2013 Gezipark protests. “We have been warned that at least 87 people have been arrested,” the Association of Progressive Advocaten (CHD) reports on X. According to the organization, “barriers were raised to prevent the lawyers” to the police station.
