Dozens of Belgians victim of hack at Credit Company behind Ikea and MediaMarkt: suddenly invoices up to 3,000 euros

Dozens of Belgians are the victims of credit fraud via Buy Way, the credit company behind stores such as IKEA, FNAC and MediaMarkt. Suddenly they have loans of up to 3,000 euros that they have never applied for, HLN consumer expert Safia Yachou knows. Consumer organization Tewelkoop already has at least 80 files. “They are really harrowing stories that we get in, and strikingly often one particular electrical chain appears,” says spokeswoman Laura Clays.
