Fede returns to the track after the two gold medals and is 17th at 1″58 on the track where he won in 2016

Back on track for Federica Brignone and the Italians in the downhill trials in Soldeu, Andorra. In the first timed test the fastest was the Czech Ester Ledecka (1’33″39), ahead of Nicol Delago and Sofia Goggia, who finished at 37 and 43 hundredths. Among the fastest there is also Laura Pirovano, sixth at 59/100. At 1″58 and paired with teammate Elena Curtoni was Federica Brignone, who after the checks at J Medical decided to extend the season.

in the final

Thanks to the two Olympic gold medals in super-G and giant slalom won in Cortina, Fede has already qualified for the World Cup finals scheduled in Kvitfjell (Norway) from 21 to 25 March.

In Soldeu this weekend, a downhill (Friday) and two super-Gs (Saturday and Sunday) are scheduled, one is the recovery of the one canceled in Zauchensee.

the men

Tomorrow in Garmisch it’s the men’s turn, with Giovanni Franzoni and Dominik Paris – together with Christof Innerhofer, Florian Schieder, Mattia Casse, Banjamin Alliod, Guglielmo Bosca, Max Perathoner and Marco Abbruzzese – engaged in the first timed test.
