‘Doutzen Kroes no longer open to reason’

Luuk Ikink fears that Doutzen Kroes has derailed to such an extent during the corona period that she is no longer open to reason. “You can no longer have a normal conversation with it.”

Doutzen Kroes has been under constant fire in the last few years, because she has all kinds of strange stories in which she ‘only asks questions’. Now she’s been criticized again for claiming that you can also fight cancer just by taking a walk in the woods.

Parallel Universe

Doutzen is not doing well, TV connoisseur Rob Goossens notes in The BLVD Podcast. “Yeah, she really did end up in a kind of parallel universe. If you think walking in the woods will make you happy or healthy, then you should do it. It’s just not 100 percent harmless.”

He continues: “We have of course seen with Sylvia Millecam how dangerous it can be to rely on unproven cures.”

Dangerous for the state

Rob points to a report from NCTV that warns about ‘a group of anti-government extremists’. “The painful thing is: this is actually Doutzen, isn’t it? At a certain point, he ended up in a club with those corona protests, which questions what is considered common in all respects.”

He points out that Doutzen is now even ‘undermining the doctor’s institute’. “Then I think: how far we have come with Doutzen, who was simply one of the top models and so in the meantime has slipped into a drain of which the NCTV says: ‘This is simply dangerous to the state.’”

Luke critical

Colleague Luuk Ikink thinks Doutzen got off track by sitting at home during corona. “Yes. It all came at the end of her career, because before that you didn’t hear about it at all. Then the corona came, she spent a lot of time at home and that all happened.”

He continues: “It’s kind of an anti-government feeling, but also anti-science, anti-media and anti-everything. You are then no longer susceptible to reason and you can no longer have a normal conversation with it if she says at every bit of resistance: ‘Framing! This is framing!’ Then you can no longer talk to each other normally.”

Expensive house

Luuk also doesn’t know where Doutzen’s dissatisfaction comes from. “Why Doutzen is so suspicious… He lives in a very expensive house, has a lot of money and can do everything. He has no reason to be dissatisfied.”

He concludes: “It’s so crazy that at some point a turn is taken that is so unrealistic that you are no longer able to reason and you can no longer have a normal conversation.”
