Donyell Malen has not been selected for the World Cup in Qatar, but the attacker is showing his good form at his club Borussia Dortmund. The Dutch attacker was accurate twice during an exhibition game with Lion City Sailors in Singapore.
Malen initially seemed to have made a clean hat-trick before the break, but his first goal was later classified as an own goal by Amirul Adli of the Sailors. The nineteen-time international of Orange was then accurate in the 34th and 45th minutes, 3-0. 20-year-old Amsterdammer Jayden Braaf signed for the assist in the 2-0.
17-year-old Dutchman Julian Rijkhoff, who comes from Ajax’s youth, scored Borussia Dortmund’s sixth goal during the 7-2 win.
During the trip through Asia, Dortmund also plays against Johor Southern Tigers in Malaysia and the Vietnamese national team in Hanoi.
