Washington Commanders is the name of the US President Donald Trump not like.
This is the name of the American football NFL team. Commanders is a former Redskins.
“Red skins” is more of Trump’s mind than the current “commanders”.
Change?
Trump said he was in favor of the idea that the US capital would return to the area of the Redskins name again from the US Yankee Side.
American TMZ Sports reported, that Trump receives support from the Vice-President From Frank Black Cloud.
“This is exactly what the Indian community has been trying to say in recent years,” Black Cloud comments.
The Washington Society met violent public pressure and eventually changed its name in 2020 first to the Washington Football Team and then to Commanders. According to Black Cloud, the indigenous population did not find the old name offending.
