When the Mother of the Väliharju Marika Silvan (Nyk. Silvan-Jälharju) worked as a model in the 1990s, participating in a model competition organized by Trump in the United States.
At that time, Silvan-Väluharju also got to know the future president.
The model star has told her daughter about a business man who was quite different at that time.
– Mom had nothing bad to say about the then Trump, but now she’s wondering a little about this current hustle – like probably everyone. However, there is a time when he was there in the race, says Väliharju.

Silvan-Väluharju toured many competitions in the United States and proudly carried Finnish colors.
“It was a great experience for him when he got to the world to represent Finland,” says the daughter.

Today, Silvan -Väluharju runs a toy company called Group in Tampere. The daughter follows in the footsteps of her mother as she is studying economics at the University of Tampere.

In the sports industry, the Tampere GP competition went from Väharju to the mug. He jumped his best in 593 and finished sixth.
– There were quite a few jumps, but some behind the plank. I am happy, even though it was not the best, he summed up.
