Kanye West is in the eye of the storm after anti-Semitic statements: he is losing one advertising partner after the other, and even good friends are renouncing him. Only one seems to be loyal to him: Ex-President Donald Trump. In the same Piers Morgan interview in which Kanye West tried to justify his anti-Semitic comments, the rapper also revealed that he had spoken to Donald Trump about his downfall.
The ex-POTUS can understand how it feels to be banned from social media platforms like Kanye (as happened on Instagram and Twitter). Trump said: “I had 277 million followers and the next day I had nothing.” According to reports, the two had contact by phone after it was announced that the rapper would now buy the platform Parler – a reservoir for right-wing conservatives. Trump recently set up his own “social” network with “Truth Social”, but its reach compared to Twitter is only in the per thousand range.
