The second most legendary Czech ice hockey player of all time Dominik Hasek had to collect its displayed equipment and trophies when the country’s hockey museum in Prague was closed on Monday.

Czech hockey journalist Zdenek Jandan according to financial problems led to the closing of the museum. It is hoped that the museum’s operation would continue somewhere else.

The Czech Ice Hockey Federation, which runs the museum, said earlier in the spring that the museum would be moving to another location.

Janda published a video on his Twitter account in which Hašek is collecting his things in a shopping cart, which he used to transfer them to his car.

The carts ended up with mattresses from the Buffalo Sabers from the late 1990s, a jersey from the Nagano Olympic tournament won by the Czech Republic, and Hašek’s iconic helmet.

– Vezina Trophy, jerseys, skates, sticks, Stanley Cup ring… Hašek also had to carry these to his car in three shopping carts, Janda wrote.

In the same context, Janda strongly criticized the termination of the museum’s operations.

– It is not said for nothing that the one who does not respect his history does not respect himself either.
