Doja Cat and Skechers will work closely together in the future. Because the American musician was appointed by the shoe brand to the role of artist-in-residence. This makes her the first artist with such a task at the US company, said Skechers on Thursday.
“Skechers has given me a new canvas to create on and I can’t wait to show everyone what we’re building,” said Doja Cat.
The artist has received multiple awards for her music, including the prestigious Grammy for the platinum hit “Kiss Me More”. She was also included in Time magazine’s “100 Most Influential People of 2023”.
