Painful incident: The Spanish football professional Carles Pérez was taken to a hospital after a dog bite to the genital area. This was confirmed by his Greek club Aris Thessaloniki, to which the 27-year-old is currently loaned by the Spanish first division club Celta Vigo, to the Spanish newspaper “Marca”.
According to media reports, Pérez was walking with his own dog. When he was attacked by another dog, the Spaniard intervened – and was bitten into the intimate area.
In the hospital he was sewn with six stitches, his condition should not be serious. Pérez should not be available for the second leg in the second qualification round of the Conference League on Thursday (8:15 p.m.) against Aras Nachitschewan from Azerbaij.
